Since expeditions and volunteering have an unfortunate association with debt, I took the only sensible option left to me and became a sport and exercise medicine doctor.

Although I spend less time on ropes and in tents, I still get to spend a fair amount of time working in mud and wondering how other people can jump so much further into sandpits than me.
